A ramen restaurant in Nagoya does exactly that. The owner loves the taste of frogs so much that he started using fresh frog meat for his main ramen dish. He even changed the same of his restaurant to “Kaeru”, the Japanese word for frog.
The frog meat topping itself was very good. However, the ramen broth and noodles were just ‘okay’”, commented a person who had visited the restaurant. “The taste and texture was similar to chicken, so I wonder if they could’ve just used chicken instead of frog? The frog was really lean though.”
